Thank you for stopping by to check out all of the programs and events available for babies and children at South Shores Church. As a multi-generational church, we place a high value on ministering to children and their families.
South Shores Christian Preschool and Kindergarten is a licensed school for preschoolers and Kindergartners from mid-September to mid-June. Click on the South Shores Christian Preschool and Kindergarten link on the right for more information and to register.

South Shores Church Kids Cove provides Sunday ministry for babies through 5th graders during the 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM worship services, as well as a KidZone Wednesday night program, Moppets class on Friday mornings as well as seasonal and special events. Program Schedule:

2-day Tuesday & Thursday
3-day Monday, Wednesday, Friday
5-day Monday through Friday
9:00 am to 11:30 am


Jr. Kindergarten Program:
5-day Monday through Friday
9:00 am to 1:30 pm

Requirements:
For the 2 & 3 day programs, children must be potty trained and 3 Years old by September 30th the year the child attends.

For the 5-day class, children must be 4 years old, but no older than 5 years 3 months by September 30th the year the child attends.

Optional Program:
Lunch Bunch-
For the morning classes, 2 hours of extended day care are offered Two days a week, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Please call for current prices. Children must bring their own lunch.

Schedule:
5 days – Monday through Friday
9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Activities

Mothers & Others Brunch
A special time for families and care
givers to meet and get acquainted with others in the classroom and enjoy a special snack.

Thanksgiving Feasts
Each class prepares part of the Feast. All of the classes eat together to celebrate the first Thanksgiving.

Christmas Chapel
Parents are invited to come hear their children sing Christmas songs along with a re-enactment of the Nativity performed by our Kindergarten class. Each year, the children are blessed by a special visitor.

Pajama Day
Breakfast at school, what fun! Children bring their favorite teddy bear and bedtime story.

Valentine Parties
Everyone goes home with a valentine.

Western Day
Children come ready to ride the range in their western wear. We serve snacks from a chuck wagon. We are visited by two ponies; one for pony pictures and the other for pony rides.


Easter Egg Hunts & Parties
The children get to dye Easter Eggs and then go out on a hunt to find them.

Open House
The rooms are decorated in different themes of study. This is a special opportunity for parents to get better acquainted with your child’s teacher and the families of their class mates. Refreshments are served, this is the social event of the year.
