Retreat Speakers

J.P. Jones is the founding pastor of Cross Line Community Church.

He is a sought after speaker at student, men’s, and couples retreats.

He has been married to his wife Donna for 22 years and they have three children. J.P. has served as an associate pastor and senior
pastor for churches in Southern California for the past 17 years.
Prior to that, J.P. and Donna worked for Campus Crusade for Christ at UCLA and UC Santa Barbara. He did his Masters and Doctoral studies at BIOLA University where he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Studies. J.P. loves hanging out with his family, days at the beach, reading and going to the movies. JP’s teaching ministry can be heard every Sunday at 10:30 AM with Truth that Changes Lives on KKLA 99.5.
The men's retreat is one of the highlights of my year. It’s a time for me to talk with the guys I see on campus every Sunday but don't have time to really talk to. It also allows me and God time to reflect on my
commitments from last years retreat and make new ones for the New Year.

Trust me, you will have a great time and God will meet you there.
Mike Perez
The retreat is a guaranteed way to block out everything (but the right thing) from daily life and have time to focus, listen, pray, learn, and be ‘close’ to God. It’s also a great time to fellowship with men and make new friends. Bottom line, without going offsite in a setting that promotes worship and fellowship to this degree. I just don’t see it happening any other way at any other time in any given year for me!

Jack Rollins
The Men's Retreat is one of South Shores most
impactful events. The speakers are inspiring, convicting and encouraging. I always return with a renewed energy to be the best husband, father, and employee. I highly recommend the retreat to any man who is looking to be inspired by God's Word and is seeking ways to apply it to his daily living.
