Dear family and friends, Some of you have not heard from me in a long time because we have been really busy with work teams which have been helping to build the little Baptist church in St. Tomas. But just as the last team was finishing up, several of us got sick with colds and then I became really sick.

I have been hospitalized for the past 6 days with severe bronchial asthma and pneumonia. My team left and then that day they admitted me to the clinic Er where I have been until today. Really frustrating but a good way to make me rest and slow down. God has been good and our staff and doctors superb. I
have been telling all of them that I am checking and evaluating our services sothis was very necessary.

The last team that was here from Stockton CA started to get colds and then I did some work with one of the team members on the ceiling in the operating rooms and that seemed to set off a really funny bronchial reaction and then going into a pneumonia. Have been on IV fluids around the clock, nebulizations, and tons of shots and pills. One of the IV fluid antibiotics cost $150 for one
dose. I have already been on two others and they did not seem to do it. Then they tried this one and have started to come out of it.

I have not been able to share this with many but I am now upstairs in our house and have been able to sit at the computer for a little while to share with you so that you can keep praying for us. Praise the Lord Rebeca has not gotten sick.
