Please
pray for us as we leave tomorrow for Komi. The train ride
is 27 hours Northeast. Here in Moscow it is 19F, windy,
and has been snowing almost everyday for weeks. Where we
are going it is 0-5 F, so I get to use my warmest boots,
gloves, and long underwear. Luiza has a cold but can’t
take any medicine (except green onions and garlic) since
she is pregnant. (In the photo she is hurrying to catch
the city bus to church. The bus comes only every 30 minutes
on Sunday.)
We finally got the correct phone number and were able to
talk with the school director this Wednesday and found out
that their spring break is a week earlier than we had thought
and that now they want us to work with 10th and 11th graders
instead of 4th and 5th. So these last few days have been
busy preparing talks and games.
The purpose of our trip is to set up things for the summer
English camp we have planned for June. There are 6 young
people planning to come. We also want to impact 20 kids
now during our time with them on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th.
So pray for health, open hearts, and learning how to do
this on a bigger scale in June.
In His harvest,
Dennis & Luiza Strellman
