Youth

The Journey

Youth at South Shores Church are on a journey: we are a community seeking to know and be known by Jesus Christ. Our focus along this journey is to embrace all who God is and all that God has for us. However, the journey is never just about us, but rather exploring how each of us can make a difference in the lives of others. We invite everyone to join us in becoming fully-devoted followers of Jesus.

Wednesday Nights

Small Groups
Time: Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm
Place: Youth Center (Lower Level of Family Center)
After a fun game, we have worship, followed by a message from the Bible. We finish the night in small groups where we discuss life and questions about what we’re learning.

Sundays

On the first Sunday of every month, Anchorage Youth joins the South Shores body in our main services.

Every Sunday after, we have youth services for grades 6-12 at the 11 am service. We meet in the Lower Level of the Family Center. Head down the stairs for some hang time and snacks. After a time of worship through music, we’ll wrap up the service with a sermon/discussion from the Bible.

All Year

Throughout the year our small group leaders are able to invest in our students. Our hope is that with every year together, meaningful lifelong relationships are formed.

Summers

We are active all summer, starting with our annual Summer kick-off bonfires, leading into all kinds of fun filled adventures. Check our calendar feed, email us, or check our instagram for the latest events.

Camps

Throughout the year, we offer both Winter and Summer camps. We believe that these camp experiences provide a chance to form stronger bonds among our students and their relationships with Jesus.
