Join us as we come together to show some love to our local Dana Point Schools! We'll be painting, cleaning, beautifying campuses, and helping create spaces that bless local students and families.

Service Project Locations

Palisades Elementary

Projects
  • Conference room bulletin boards– the conference room has large, black bulletin boards right now – the hope would be to cover them with fabric in shades of blue and add some kind of border/framing (super easy).
  • STEAM LAB decoration – The principal envisions a “space” theme for the lab and has purchased a few decorations. We will add to what she has purchased and help make the room a fun and inviting place for students.
  • Garden Rehab – their garden space has 12 wooden planter boxes, a couple of benches and a fence that need to be freshly stained.
  • Wellness Room – converting an unused classroom into a calming space for students and teachers/staff as well as a place where the school counselor can meet with students that doesn’t feel clinical.
  • Sensory Walk – creating a walk around the blacktop on their playground where kids who find it overstimulating to play in large groups during recess can play independently by following the various activities depicted.
  • Art/Music room decoration – they have a large classroom for art and music that is literally a blank canvas. The goal – make it a fun and inviting space for learning art and music.

R.H. Dana Elementary

Projects
  • Garen Rehab Project – Using existing raised planters in the TK area, add new soil and plant sections of vegetable garden separated by sections of flowers.
  • Painting projects around campus (playground games, dophin walkway (using stencils), repainting a yellow caution stripe on the sidewalk)
  • Writing encouraging notes to teachers and staff.

Dana Hills High School

Projects
  • Mural (on the wall in the English Department) – lots of creative freedom here right now, it’s a blank wall.
  • Care Cove – A discreet space on campus where students in need can receive clothing, food and personal care items.
